MOBOT Ultra Ebike Motor & Drive System
The MOBOT Ultra Ebike is powered by a 48V 240W brushless geared rear-hub motor. Riders can choose from three pedal-assistance levels to balance motor support, pedalling effort and battery consumption. The motor assistance operates through a cadence sensor and is limited to a maximum speed of approximately 25 km/h. A single-speed chain drivetrain uses a 36-tooth front chainring and 16-tooth rear freewheel, providing straightforward operation for regular commuting and delivery riding.
MOBOT Ultra Ebike Battery & Range
The MOBOT Ultra Ebike uses a removable 48V 25Ah lithium-ion battery, equivalent to approximately 1,200Wh of nominal energy capacity. EkoLife describes the model as providing up to approximately 100 km of range per full charge, while some favourable-condition seller tests advertise higher figures. The safer product-page claim is up to 100 km because actual range can fall substantially with heavier cargo, high assistance, frequent stopping, slopes and ageing battery cells. A full recharge takes approximately eight to ten hours with the commonly supplied charger.
MOBOT Ultra Ebike Frame & Build
The MOBOT Ultra Ebike features a T6061 aluminium-alloy frame and rigid aluminium fork. It weighs approximately 20 kg and supports a maximum combined load of 120 kg. Matching 16 × 1.75-inch pneumatic tyres are installed on magnesium-alloy rims, while front and rear FILEL F4 mechanical disc brakes with 160 mm rotors provide cable-operated stopping control. The bicycle measures approximately 140 × 56 × 105 cm when fully assembled.
MOBOT Ultra Ebike Weather Rating
No formal whole-bicycle IP water- or dust-resistance rating is published for the original MOBOT Ultra. It should not be confused with the later Ultra RT, which introduced MOBOT’s Rain Tech water-resistant controller system. The original Ultra should be described as suitable for normal urban use rather than waterproof. Riders should avoid floodwater, deep puddles, pressure washing and prolonged heavy rain, and ensure the battery and charging connections are completely dry before charging.
