ADO Air Carbon Motor & Drive System
The ADO Air Carbon electric bicycle is powered by a 36V 250W BAFANG brushless rear-hub motor that produces up to 35 Nm of torque. A dual-sided torque sensor measures the rider’s pedalling pressure and adjusts the electric assistance proportionately, creating smoother starts and more natural acceleration than a basic cadence-sensor system. Its single-speed carbon belt drive provides quiet and low-maintenance power transfer without conventional derailleur gears, oily chains or frequent lubrication. The motor supports an assisted top speed of up to 25 km/h and a stated maximum climbing angle of approximately 20 degrees under suitable riding conditions.
ADO Air Carbon Battery & Range
The ADO Air Carbon uses a removable 36V 9.6Ah lithium battery with approximately 345.6Wh of nominal energy capacity. ADO advertises a maximum pedal-assisted range of up to 100 km under favourable test conditions. The portable battery can be removed and charged separately, allowing riders to recharge it indoors without moving the entire bicycle near a power outlet. A full charge takes approximately four to six hours. Actual range will vary according to rider weight, assistance level, speed, hills, tyre pressure, weather and frequency of stopping.
ADO Air Carbon Frame & Build
The ADO Air Carbon features a carbon-fibre folding frame and carbon front fork designed to combine structural strength with easier portability. It weighs approximately 15.9 kg with the battery installed and accessories excluded, while supporting a maximum combined rider and cargo load of 120 kg. Both wheels use 20 × 1.75-inch pneumatic tyres, and front and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide responsive stopping control. The bicycle measures approximately 148 × 50 × 113 cm when unfolded and folds down to approximately 83.8 × 43 × 66 cm for more convenient urban storage.
ADO Air Carbon Weather Rating
The ADO Air Carbon has an IPX5 water-resistance rating, while its 2.4-inch IPS colour display is rated IPX7. The main bicycle can tolerate everyday splashes and moderate exposure to rain, but it should not be treated as completely waterproof. Riders should avoid floodwater, deep puddles, pressure washing and prolonged exposure to severe rain. The battery contacts, charging port and charger must be completely dry before the bicycle is connected for charging.
