What are the main differences between the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair and other electric wheelchairs in the market?
Aileen Tan –
Is the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair suitable for people with severe mobility issues, considering its weight capacity and stability features?
Nurul Izzati Abdul Latif –
I recently purchased the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. The 5-speed control feature is really useful and the horn button is a great safety feature. The anti-tilting wheel is also a great addition, it makes navigating uphill roads much safer. My only suggestion is to improve the manual mode somehow, it can be a bit tricky to control.
Khew Pei Bee –
What’s the maximum speed of the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair? I’m a bit worried it might be too slow for my daily commute.
Adam Koh –
I’ve been looking for a wheelchair with a good climbing ability, and the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair definitely meets that requirement. What I’m not a fan of is the minimalist design of the controller – it can get quite tiring to control with one hand for extended periods.
May Ang –
I’m surprised by how quiet and smooth the eDegree EW8 is! Range per charge is exactly 15km as advertised, battery life could be better but not a big deal for daily commute.
Ellen Wong –
Can anyone recommend any accessories for the eDegree EW8? I’m looking to get a rain cover or a storage bag, but can’t seem to find any on the official website. Any DIY tutorials or recommendations are appreciated!
Zuraidah Abdul Rahim –
The eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair is incredibly easy to maneuver, and the 360° joystick controller is so intuitive. However, I do wish it had a more durable braking system – the current one has started to wear off after a few months of use.
Angeline Goh –
Pros: extremely comfortable, easy to steer, looks sleek Cons: the brakes could be better, a bit heavy for my liking. Overall, I’d give it 4.5/5 stars.
Muhammad Syafiq Abba –
I’m impressed with the range of the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair, it’s exceeded my expectations! I’ve been using it for a week now and I’ve already reached 20km on a single charge. However, I do wish they included a more comfortable seat. Otherwise, it’s a great product!
Mia Wong –
Does anyone know if the eDegree EW8 is suitable for hills? I’ve read the specification suggesting a climbing ability of <10° Degree, but I'd love some feedback from other users. So far, everything's been great!
Kaitlyn Lee –
Is the 360° joystick controller durable? Has anyone experienced any issues with the charging time? The specifications mention 6-8 hours, but I’d like to know from actual users. So far, so good with my eDegree EW8!
Hailey Yang –
I’ve been using the eDegree EW8 for a few weeks now and so far, I’ve had no issues. The electric and manual mode options are really convenient and the anti-fall castor feature gives me peace of mind. Only minor comment I’d make is that the brakes could be a bit smoother.
Teh Eng Thong –
I’m really interested in purchasing the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair, but I want to know if it’s suitable for traveling on rough terrain. Does it have four-wheel drive or any additional features that would allow me to travel on dirt paths?

What a beast! I’ve been using the eDegree EW8 for a week now and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for me. The folding size is perfect for storing at home or in my car. I’ve taken it for a few long rides and it’s handled itself extremely well. The 8 shock absorbers really make a difference when it comes to comfort. Would love to see some cosmetic updates but overall, very satisfied.
Jamie Ng –
Overall, eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair is great, although I noticed that the Braking System required a few days to get used to, now I love how it works!

Cassandra Tan –
I’ve been using the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair for a few weeks now, and I must say it’s been a game-changer for me. The range per charge is impressive, and the lithium battery is so much quieter than my old wheelchair’s. However, I wish it came with a more comfortable seat cushion.
Alicia Teo –
Priced well below the market average, I was initially worried about its performance, unfortunate that it can only achieve max load of 160kg, I’m not overweight ofc’
Siti Nuramanina Safwan –
I’ve been using the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair for a month now and I’m extremely satisfied with its performance. I’ve tried using it on rough terrain and it handles it well. The joystick controller is intuitive and easy to use. The only minor issue I’ve encountered is that the battery indicator can be a bit tricky to read sometimes.
Tim Tan –
Question, Is it possible to remove the display screen and install an alternate one that can be mounted to the handle? Would really help reduce weight and visibility for me
Liam Lee –
Does anyone know if the horn button can also be configured to haptic input instead of vibration? Hoping it helps to signal other pedestrians around me
Farah Rafiq –
I’m absolutely loving my eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair! The 15km range per charge is perfect for my daily commute to the office and back. The lithium battery holds its charge well, and I’m impressed with the 5-speed mode feature. My only minor gripe is that the folding size could be smaller.
Aisha Yeoh –
Can this eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair maintain its speed uphill? I’ve had issues with other wheelchairs slowing down on inclines.
Khong Yong Wai –
What’s the life expectancy of the 24V 12AH battery in this eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair? I’m concerned about the battery’s long-term durability.
Amira Ting –
I’ve been using the eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The 360° joystick controller is so intuitive, and the intelligent brake system gives me peace of mind. My only suggestion would be to include a warning light for low battery levels.

Does this eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair come with a carrying strap or can it be folded down to a compact size?
Kathleen Tam –
This eDegree EW8 Electric Wheelchair has been a game-changer for my grandma! The 8-inch solid tire on the front wheel is so durable, and the adjustable anti-tilting wheel gives peace of mind when going uphill. Well worth the investment!
