EXPLORE ALL MODELSXiaomi has sold more e-scooters in Malaysia than any other brand by unit volume. That matters for ownership: the second-hand market is liquid (good resale value if you upgrade), the rider community is deep (forums, owner groups, and YouTube repair videos cover every model from the original M365 onward), and a Xiaomi is a platform other riders and technicians already know how to work on.
We stock genuine OEM 36V 10Ah and 36V 12.8Ah battery packs for the M365 / M365 Pro / Pro 2 line, plus replacement controllers, LED displays, throttles, chargers, and 8.5-inch honeycomb solid tyres. A Xiaomi owner whose battery finally died doesn’t have to scrap the scooter — they can swap the pack and keep riding. This is the single biggest reason owners stay with the brand across upgrades.
The 4 Series is what Xiaomi currently produces. IP54 splash resistance matters in Malaysian weather — afternoon thunderstorms between March and October are a daily reality. Our Ara Damansara workshop handles diagnostics, brake servicing, firmware updates, and motor repairs for the entire line, with turnaround typically 3–5 working days for in-stock parts.
The flagship of the current 4 Series and the model we recommend for daily commuters covering longer distances across mixed MY terrain. Full specs and pricing live on the product page — what matters for the brand story is that it’s the model with the largest battery and longest range in the line.
SEE MORE ask about the warrantyXiaomi is the brand we service more than any other in our workshop — the depth of the installed base means our team handles the original M365 alongside the current 4 Series every day. Genuine OEM 36V 10Ah and 36V 12.8Ah battery packs are kept on the shelf, along with replacement controllers, LED displays, throttles, chargers, and 8.5-inch solid tyres for the legacy line. Out-of-warranty work on older units is part of the routine — most Xiaomi owners ride their units well past the warranty window and we keep the parts pipeline alive for them.
Common service categories we run on Xiaomi:
– Battery diagnostics and pack replacement (legacy M365 line + 4 Series)
– Throttle, controller, and LED display replacement
– Brake adjustment — both electronic (E-ABS) regen and mechanical disc
– Firmware updates via Mi Home app during scheduled service
– Fold-mechanism lubrication and torque check

I’ve been a Xiaomi rider since the original M365 days. The 4 Pro Max is my third unit — same brand, same workshop, same people who actually remember my scooter. That continuity is why I keep coming back.
I bought my 4 Lite from Eko Life PJ in August. When I had a controller question a week later, they walked me through the Mi Home reset on WhatsApp instead of asking me to ride in. That’s the difference between buying from a local workshop and buying from a random online listing.
My M365 Pro battery finally died after six years. I assumed I’d have to replace the whole scooter. They had a 36V 12.8Ah OEM pack in stock and swapped it in under an hour. Saved me from buying a new unit — and the new battery is honestly better than the original.
That depends on your daily distance and route. For most PJ/KL commuters, the 4 Pro 2nd Gen is the sweet spot. For shorter trips and lighter riders, the 4 Lite is the most affordable entry. For the longest range, the 4 Pro Max. See the product pages for full specs and pricing — the right model is the one that matches your route, not the one with the longest spec sheet.
Rules vary by state and local council. In Selangor and KL, low-powered e-scooters are generally permitted on bike lanes, park paths, and shared walkways but not on highways or major roads. Always check the latest JPJ and local council guidance, and wear a helmet. We don’t provide legal advice on riding zones — confirm with your local authority.
Yes. We stock OEM 36V 10Ah and 36V 12.8Ah battery packs, replacement controllers, LED displays, throttles, chargers, and 8.5-inch solid tyres for the legacy M365 line. Bring your scooter to our Ara Damansara workshop and we can diagnose and quote on the spot.
Range figures depend heavily on rider weight, terrain, and ambient temperature — Malaysian heat and the stop-start pace of PJ traffic both reduce range vs. lab-spec. As a rule of thumb on a full charge in flat Petaling Jaya commuting: the Xiaomi Essential covers around 12–15 km, the 1S around 18–22 km, the Pro 2 around 25–35 km, and the 4 Pro and 4 Pro Max around 35–55 km. Range drops further on hilly routes around Taman Tun Dr Ismail or Kota Damansara.
No — the scooter works without the app. The Mi Home / Xiaomi Home app adds ride statistics, firmware updates, and a remote lock, but the dashboard, throttle, and brakes all function independently. We recommend installing it for the firmware-update benefit.
For most legacy owners, the upgrade worth making is a battery swap on the existing unit — not a new scooter. If your M365 frame is solid, a fresh 36V pack will give you another 2–3 years. If the frame is tired, the 4 Series is the cleanest step up. We can assess your current unit in person before you decide.
We occasionally accept trade-ins toward new purchases — depends on model, condition, and current stock. Bring the scooter in for an assessment and we’ll quote on the spot.
Yes — test rides of the Xiaomi 4 Pro Max are available at our Ara Damansara outlet on weekdays and most Saturdays. We also keep the Pro 2 and 1S on the test-ride bench for comparison. A short loop around the Pacific Place car park lets you feel the difference between the three generations before you commit.
For brand-level context: both are top-tier 4 Series models. The Pro Max has the largest battery capacity and longest range; the Pro 2nd Gen sits just below it. For a model-by-model breakdown, see the product pages.
The Xiaomi 1S and earlier M365 generation no longer receive official firmware updates from Xiaomi — but our workshop tracks the stable open-source firmware revisions in-house and can flash the latest known-good version onto your 1S during a service appointment. This restores current-mode behaviour on units that have drifted from factory settings.
Xiaomi didn’t invent the e-scooter, but the M365 — launched globally in 2016 and arriving in Malaysia shortly after — set the template the rest of the industry followed: aircraft-grade aluminium frame, one-step folding, a clean LED dashboard, and a price point that put personal e-mobility within reach of daily commuters, students, and young professionals. By the time the M365 Pro, Pro 2, and 1S arrived, the brand was already the default choice for first-time e-scooter buyers across Southeast Asia.
What’s made Xiaomi sticky in Malaysia isn’t the spec sheet — it’s the parts ecosystem. A scooter bought in 2018 is still on the road in 2026 because the aftermarket supports it. We stock OEM 36V battery packs, controllers, displays, throttles, chargers, and tyres for the legacy M365 line, and we service every current 4 Series model at our Ara Damansara workshop. For Malaysian riders, that combination — current product plus long-term parts and service — is the real Xiaomi story.
The 4 Series continues that philosophy at the next generation level. Pneumatic tyres, IP54 splash resistance, Mi Home app connectivity, and a remote lock. The 4 Lite keeps the format accessible for first-time owners. For product-by-product specs and pricing, see the individual product pages — this page is about what it means to own a Xiaomi in Malaysia.
