CAMP Chameleon Pro Foldable Bicycle Review
The CAMP Chameleon Pro is an upgraded version of the CAMP Chameleon folding bike. With its upgraded components, the CAMP Chameleon Pro is faster, more aerodynamic, and durable. The sleek design of the frame accentuates the bicycle’s sporty and modern look.
Equipped with the Shimano Tiagra RD-4700 derailleur which is an upgrade from the Sensah Ion on the CAMP Chameleon folding bike. The bi-folding bike also uses the TEKTRO HD-M285 hydraulic brakes, located both on the rear and front wheel – this increases the efficiency of the bicycle’s braking system.
The seatpost also has an integrated portable pump that’s unique to the Chameleon Pro foldable bicycle.
The CAMP Chameleon Pro also has one of the thinnest wheels in the CAMP series – 20inch (28-451) pneumatic tyre. With thinner wheels, the decrease in friction enables the bicycle to achieve higher speeds with lesser effort.
Made from high strength aluminium composites, the bicycle is able to achieve lightweight, a high strength to weight ratio, and the bicycle is resistant to corrosion. The seat post, handles and fork are also made from the same high strength aluminium compound.
The bicycle comes with reliable and efficient TEKTRO hydraulic brakes on the front & rear wheels. The wheels have reflective strips attached to them which is necessary especially when riding in dim lit areas.
