The Kernel Orca electric bicycle is pushing the boundaries of LTA e-bike certification in Singapore. Being the first fat tyre e-bike with 48V capacity to be approved on Singapore roads!
Unique features
The e-bike is equipped with a premium Samsung battery. With its unique 16″ x 3″ sports rim tyres, the Kernel Orca e-bike is no stranger to bumpy roads and rough terrains. The electric bicycle is also highly compact – when folded it only measures around 80cm which is ideal for public transport and storage in the car boot.
The bicycle also comes with a rear rack that can withstand weights of up to 15kg.
Frame
The Kernel Orca electric bike is manufactured from 6061 aluminium alloy which is commonly found in aircraft components.
Safety
Fitted with front and rear LED lights that are necessary when riding in dim lit areas or at night. The bicycle also comes with front and rear disc brakes. The wheels are also fitted with reflectors for extra visibility.
Battery
Running on a high quality 18650 lithium ion battery made by Samsung, the Kernel Orca ebike can cover distances of up to 90km.
Motor
The electric bicycle runs on a 48V 250W brushless geared motor.
